The sizes of G-type high alumina brick fan-shaped bricks are as follows
G1: 230*15*75 (mm)
G2: 345*150*75 (mm)
G3: 230*150/135*75 (mm)
G4: 345*150*130*75 (mm)
G5: 230*150*120*75 (mm)
G6: 345*150*110*75 (mm)
G7: 230*150*90*75 (mm)
G8: 345*150*90*75 (mm)
High alumina brick is a neutral refractory material with an alumina content of more than 48%. It is made of bauxite or other raw materials with a high alumina content through molding and calcination, and has high stability. The refractoriness of high alumina bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silica bricks, reaching 1750~1790℃, and is a high-grade refractory material. High alumina bricks contain more Al2O3, which is close to neutral refractory materials. They can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag. Because they contain SiO2, their ability to resist alkaline slag is weaker than that to resist acidic slag, and their slag resistance is better.
It is usually divided into four categories: Special grade: Al2O3 content ≥80%; Grade I: Al2O3 content ≥75%; Grade II: Al2O3 content 60%~75%; Grade III: Al2O3 content 48%~60%;
Application range: Mainly used for building blast furnace, hot blast furnace, electric furnace roof, blast furnace, reverberatory furnace, rotary kiln lining, glass kiln, calcining furnace, carbon roasting furnace, lime kiln and other industrial high temperature kilns. In addition, high alumina bricks are also widely used as open hearth heat storage checker bricks, plugs for pouring systems, nozzle bricks, etc. However, the price of high alumina bricks is higher than that of clay bricks, so there is no need to use high alumina bricks where clay bricks can meet the requirements.
