Mullite lightweight thermal insulation bricks, also known as light mullite bricks or mullite heat insulation bricks, are made high-quality high-alumina fireclay as the main raw material, with a porous structure formed by foam or chemical method. After mixing the ingredients with to form a plastic dough or slurry, they are extruded and then fired at high temperature to produce high-quality heat insulation bricks. The volume density is generally0.6-1.2g/cm3, and the service temperature is 1300 degrees Celsius - 1550 degrees C. According to the operating temperature, it is divided into JM-23, JM-26, JM-28 three kinds. This type product can directly touch the flame, and has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, low weight, low thermal conductivity, and significant energy-saving effect. Product: 1. Low heat fusion: Due to the low thermal conductivity, the mullite series lightweight thermal insulation bricks accumulate little heat energy, and the energysaving effect is obvious in intermittent operation; 2. Low impurity content, high refractoriness, and high alumina content enable it to maintain good performance under atmosphere; 3. High thermal pressure strength, low thermal conductivity, and good thermal insulation effect. Product application: Mullite lightweight bricks can be used the thermal surface refractory lining or the backing insulation layer of other refractories, and are applied to the industrial furnaces such as cracking furnace, tube furnace gas generator, high-temperature shuttle kiln, tunnel kiln, ceramic roller kiln, push plate kiln, and electric furnace box-type insulation furnace in petrochemical industry.
