Electricity supply continues to be tight, and Sichuan electrolytic aluminum enterprises will need to limit power by 5-10%

According to SMM, in recent days, there has been a sustained high temperature in Sichuan Province, and the growth rate of civilian electricity has been relatively high. In order to cope with the situation of power overload, multiple industries in the province have been required to stagger production. According to SMM research, there is currently no substantial reduction in production of electrolytic aluminum in the province. As of now, the total operating capacity of electrolytic aluminum in the province is about 945000 tons. According to feedback from enterprises, if the power supply continues to be tight, some electrolytic aluminum enterprises need to consume 5-10% electricity during peak periods.
