Special refractory brick series - heat storage lattice brick

Specifications: Customized as required

The grate brick is a heat storage medium that is currently widely recognized and accepted by the iron-making industry worldwide for many superior thermal engineering properties, such as strong heat exchange capacity, large heat storage area, smooth ventilation, and low resistance. The grate brick is mainly used in the part of the hot blast furnace's heat storage chamber, where it plays a role in heat storage. It plays an extremely important role in the process of heating cold into hot air. The application of grate bricks in hot blast furnaces: Grate bricks are mainly used in hot blast furnaces. When the hot air below 900℃, clay bricks are generally used; when the air temperature is higher than 900℃, high alumina bricks, mull bricks, sillimanite bricks, and silicon bricks are used for grate bricks. The function of the hot blast furnace is to heat the cold air delivered the blower into hot air, and then the hot air is sent into the blast furnace through the hot air pipe for combustion reaction. The use of hot air in furnace ironmaking can significantly reduce the amount of fuel consumed in the ironmaking process. The hot blast furnace is a cyclic operation device with two working periods: the combustion and the air delivery period, which alternate periodically. During the combustion period, the gas fuel burns in the burner of the hot blast furnace to produce high-temperature fl gas, which passes through the holes of the grate brick of the hot blast furnace, transferring heat to the grate brick. As the flue gas heats the grate brick its own temperature decreases. After the flue gas is cooled by the grate brick, it is discharged into the atmosphere through the flue pipe. During the air delivery, the cold air from the blower enters the hot blast furnace, is heated into hot air by the grate brick, and then sent into the blast furnace through the air pipe. In the prior art, the grate bricks used in hot blast furnaces are usually seven-hole grate bricks. Due to the limited number of holes in the seven-hole grate bricks, there is a disadvantage of limited heating area. Also, because of the large holes, there is a disadvantage of a small coefficient. Therefore, in the prior art, there are many improvements to it. For example, by designing a horizontal channel at the lower part of the seven-hole, the gas can bypass the blocked part and enter the channel of the lower hole, so as to avoid the failure of the whole channel and thus solve the problem of air distribution caused by the eddy current formed by the dome and the equalizing chamber in the prior art, which reduces the overall efficiency of the hot blast furnace
