Specification: 25kg/bag
Cold ramming paste is a carbonaceous filling material used in the construction of metallurgical furnaces, also known as coarse joint paste which can be constructed at room temperature. The aggregate of this cathode paste is the same as that of ordinary cathode paste (also known as hot ramming paste, such as ordinary anthracite, electric furnace anthracite, metallurgical coke, and graphite chips. The low softening point of the binder 20℃ ± 5℃. In the past, the binder used to be pitch and coal tar pitch, but now Huanong Refractories., Ltd. uses resin binder entirely, which has good bonding effect and long service life. The softening point of cold ramming paste is low and its volatile matter is high, with a shelf life of 6 to 9 months. The construction temperature of cold ramming paste is 25 to 5℃, and it is widely used in industrial furnaces such as aluminum electrolysis cells, blast furnaces for ironmaking, smelting furnaces, calcium carb furnaces, and metallurgical furnaces for silicon manganese.
